Aloha! I am Dr. Allex Cordero, owner and lead veterinarian at Island Paws Mobile Vet. I grew up in Waimea before attending veterinary school at Colorado State University. I love caring for dogs and cats, but my special interests are end of life care and preventative care. I started this practice to fill the need for compassionate in home end of life care for our island pets. While that work can be hard, I am glad to be there for my patients to ease their suffering and guide families through such a difficult time. I am also acupuncture and laser therapy certified which lets me care for even more pets.
When I'm not working, I spend time with my husband and our many animals (including 12 dogs and a variety of farm animals). I also love to read and swim.
